宁波市医疗器械行业协会是由宁波市内从事医疗器械、医药包装的工业企业为主体，有科研、临床和经营单位自愿参加组成的全市性行业组织。自2000年1月协会成立以来，经历了从无到有、从小到大的发展历程。
到目前为止本协会已有会员单位近150家。 其中生产企业所生产的医疗器械和药品包装产品包括了卫生敷料、消毒设备、高分子产品、病房护理设备、手术设备、手术器械、骨科器械、普通诊察器械、磁共振成像系统、医用电子设备、物理治疗仪器设备、齿科设备、齿科材料、诊断试剂、药用塑料包装瓶、药用玻璃包装瓶、药用胶塞、药用复合膜包装等十多个大类、四百多个产品类别、几千个品种.
在全国市场占有一定的份额。
 协会成立后，先后加入了中国医疗器械行业协会和浙江省医疗器械行业协会，并分别当选为常务理事和副会长，在日常工作中，加强与国家、省和其他省、市协会的联系和信息交流。
几年来，本协会面向市场、面向企业,根据我市医疗器械行业和药包材企业的现状和需要，积极开展各项服务工作，帮助企业排忧解难，维护会员单位的共同利益和合法权益，反映会员单位的愿望和要求，积极为企业提供政策、法律、法规等咨询服务，传达贯彻政府的方针、政策和法令，充分发挥政府和企事业单位之间的桥梁和纽带作用,为提高全行业素质做了大量工作，
随着国家市场经济的不断发展, 全球经济一体化的不断深入, 协会将保持会员单位更加紧密的联系, 在探索实现资源共亨,
互惠互利, 加强行业自律的同时, 继续加强与国内、外相关协会之间的联系, 拓展与国际相关协会的联络, 把我市的厂商、产品推介给国内外厂商、用户,
把国内外先进的技术、产品、管理引进来, 促进全市医疗器械、药品包装行业的发展。

Ningbo association for medical device industry, whose
main body is the industrial enterprise engaged in the
medical equipment, package of drug in the city of Ningbo
is the whole city trade organize voluntarily joined
by the scientific research, clinic, and operating unit.
Since Ningbo city association for medical device industry
was established in January of 2000, it has gone through
the development course from scratch, from small to large,
which is the course of exploring and opening up the
association’s surviving and development model while
set up and perfected constantly the market economy frame.
The association has nearly 150 member units at present.
After it is established, the association joined the
Chinese association for medical device industry and
Zhejiang Province association for medical device industry
successively, and it is elected the administrative director
and vice chairman separately. In routine it strengthens
the connection with country, province and other provinces
associations by information interchange. In the past
few years, the association faces market and enterprises.
According to current situation and need of the medical
equipment trade of our city and powder bag material
enterprise, it expansions diversified services actively,
which helps enterprise remove difficulties and alleviate
sufferings in enterprises and safeguard the common profit
of the member unit and legitimate rights .It also reflects
the hope and request of the member unit, offer service
of consulting in policy, laws and regulations, etc,
for enterprises actively. It transmits and carries out
the government's policy and decree, while give full
play to the role of bridge and tie between the government
and enterprises. In addition, the association improves
the whole trade quality and promotes the development
of the whole city trade of medical device, package of
drug.
